We use Splashtop SOS for our secure remote support. Our support representative can access your system and only during the session you approve while at your computer.
Step 1
When instructed by one of our support representatives, click the grey Remote Support button below. The Splashtop SOS installation executable will be automatically downloaded and should appear as a file to open/run in your web browser.
Step 2
The downloaded software will need to be open/run. If using Microsoft Edge, click the "Open" button at the top right of your browser window at the question "What do you want to do with SplashtopSOS.exe".
If using Google Chrome, click the SplashtopSOS.exe file at the bottom left of your browser window.
After opening/running the executable file named SplashtopSOS.exe, you may be prompted to authorize the software and will need to click "Yes" to allow the application to make changes to your system.
Step 3
Once the Splashtop SOS software is run, it will connect to the Internet to get a 9-digit code and display it on the screen. Give this code to our support representative so they can assist you remotely with your issue. Once the connect is terminated, the remote session will be deleted/closed.
